On March 19, 2020 The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) declared a public health disaster in Texas because of the new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Members of the Austin Black Physicians Association (ABPA) are on the front lines caring for patients, and we are grateful for their commitment and service during this historical crisis.
